DAY 27 OF THE 100 DAY CHALLENGE!

Big Wins Are Built On Small Successes
Headlines are almost never filled with the daily, mundane things that happen in people’s lives. Rather, they are composed of the outstanding feats that have been accomplished. The Olympic athlete who dominates his category, the singer who becomes an overnight sensation, the astronaut who steps foot on the moon; these are what dominate headlines. However, each of these momentous events was built upon years of practice, of ups and downs, of dreaming and achieving. No one but you will know all of the battles that you face during this Challenge. No one but you will understand the exuberant feeling associated with winning the small battles. However, everyone will join in celebration with you when they see the final results. Remember, “It’s not over ’til the fat lady sings”!

It’s so funny, because on Friday when I weighed myself and saw that I had lost a good chunk of weight, I was so excited and it was pretty easy to stick with my goals the rest of the day!  However, by the time Saturday came around it was all I could do to keep myself from focusing on food!  I think one thing that happens to me is I see a success, and immediately start thinking I can relax a little.  That there’s plenty of time to reach my final goals!  In reality, time is ticking away very quickly - tomorrow is the last day of Week 4 of the 6-Week Cutting Phase.  Only two weeks of the Cutting Phase left to go!

DAY 26 OF THE 100 DAY CHALLENGE!

Success or Failure - It’s All Up to YOU!

Once there was a wise, old man and everyone in the village would go to him with their questions. Two certain jealous young men decided that they would present a question that would baffle the elderly man so he would lose all credibility. So, they caught a bird, and one of the young men held it behind his back. They stood before the wise, old man, and the one young man asked if the bird he was holding behind his back was dead or alive. The plan was that if the old man said “alive” he would quickly snap its neck and if he said “dead” the young man would let it live. They were surprised by the answer, when the wise, old man responded, “It’s all up to you.” It is the same with reaching your goals. There is only one person who can determine whether or not you make positive changes in your life - YOU.

————————————————–

I can hardly believe it!  This morning I did an “unofficial” weigh-in and so far I have lost 25.8 lbs - and I’m not even done with Week 4 yet!  Just amazing!  I just might need to readjust my target goal for the 100 Day Challenge!  I believe I’ll hit my original goal well before the 100 Days are out!  :D  VERY excited about that!  If you want quick results, you should try the 100 Day Challenge.  It’s definitely worth it!  It’s split into two parts - the Cutting Phase which is 6 weeks long, and then the Maintenance Phase which is just over 8 weeks long (58 days).
